Cheri Freund creates with a surrealistic and ethereal flare. Visible within her abstract work is a hint of realism, which provides the viewing audience a fresh experience.
Her inspiration comes from music, color & everyday objects. Approaching each image as a challenge, to create something completely different and out of the ordinary.
As a diversified artist, Cheri is to able create in a multitude of directions. Her work has been commissioned by the publishing, software and music industries. Was an exhibitor in the New York "Prevailing Human Spirit - 911 Tribute" (hosted by the Society of Illustrators), featured in: PEI (Photo Electronic Imaging magazine), the 2009 edition of "The Big Book of Contemporary Illustration" by Martin Dawber (Anova Publishing – UK) and commissioned by the University of Nebraska - Lincoln NCTA for an exterior mural project (installation Fall of 2011).
Cheri's work has been shown internationally and is available as Limited Edition Giclee prints, Tile Art or custom designed Waterfall Walls (see artist for details).
